April 2015 Blog: Energy Efficient Ovens Save Money and Resources
Wisconsin Oven has released their April 2015 blog: Energy Efficient Ovens Save Money and Resources. Read an excerpt below:
In April, we celebrate Earth Day, a yearly reminder to be conscious of the environment and ways to protect it. The effects of Earth Day over the last 45 years have led to increased consumer awareness and programs dedicated to reducing the use of our natural resources, especially in reducing the amount of energy we require to maintain current lifestyles.
At Wisconsin Oven we also understand the importance of reducing energy use. Industrial ovens generate a large amount of heat and heat loss that needs to be replaced while the equipment is in use. In designing our energy efficient features, we needed to find a way to minimize this heat loss to save energy while maintaining a constant oven temperature. Knowing that improving the energy efficiency of the oven would also keep the ambient temperature of the shop lower, we would be saving our customers money on cooling costs during the warmer months.
We were able to accomplish this feat and create an Energy Efficient Oven upgrade package that features thicker wall panels, a door limit switch, and an air filter for cleaner fuel burning and higher operating efficiencies. This E-Pack™ option is available as an upgrade on most of our standard industrial ovens.
