This year Wisconsin Oven is exhibiting at the CAMX 2018 (The Composites and Advanced Materials Expo). The expo is being held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas Texas from October 16th -18th 2018. CAMX strives to bring together the leaders from all areas who contribute to the advancement of materials industry including: transportation, aerospace, marine, wind energy, and more. This event will be a large-scale networking opportunity which includes the featuring of new technology within the industry.

Composite Curing Ovens from Wisconsin Oven

Wisconsin Oven will be showcasing their high-performance composite curing ovens at the show. Curing ovens are used for manufacturing composite parts in a range of industries. Within the aerospace industry, this includes parts such as wing structures, tails, and fuselages. In the nautical and defense industries parts include boat and hulls that resist the corrosive properties of water and saltwater. For the consumer industry, emerging technology continues to use composites for customer needs such as lightweight, but strong bike frames automobile parts, fishing rods, and baseball bats to underground storage tanks.

Wisconsin Oven will be showcasing their Virtual Reality (VR) which will give attendees an expanded experience in a simulated environment. When attendees put on the VR gear they can “walk through” Wisconsin Oven’s facility and see where their ovens are being made. The virtual reality technology creates a show-stopping experience with the computer-generated environments that the customer can explore and interact with while learning about Wisconsin Oven’s composite curing ovens.
