Wisconsin Oven Corporation is pleased to announce the shipment of a two (2) electrically heated two-zone curing conveyor ovens with cool-down sections to an industrial manufacturer. These ovens will be used for curing adhesive material between parts.

The adhesive curing ovens are designed to maintain a guaranteed temperature uniformity of +/- 9°C at 180°C, with a maximum temperature rating of 220°C. The belt conveyor systems feature variable frequency drives which allow the operator the flexibility to adjust the conveyor speed as needed. The ovens utilize top-down airflow for efficient heat transfer and each zone is equipped with an 8,600 CFM recirculation blower. The entire heating and cooling processes are completed in less than an hour.

The ovens are equipped with an Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC with a 10” PanelView Plus 7 Color Touch Screen for temperature and process control. These systems provide the operator with one button auto start/shutdown functionality, temperature and setpoint displays, conveyor status displays, and user-friendly alarm screens with detailed troubleshooting guidance. A Network Address Translation switch allows for integration with the customer’s facility network.

"These conveyor ovens feature an advanced PLC control system that allows operators to easily review alarm history, track process and conveyor data, and access system diagnostics to maximize operator oversight."
